Bunny Brunel is among the selected few fusion jazz bass players who can be considered true masters of their craft. Over the decades, Mr. Brunel has worked with an amazing array of both solo artists and bands. The list is probably too long to ever be fully presented, though some of the most important entries include the likes of Chick Korea, Herbie Hancock, Al Di Meola, Ziggy Marley, etc. He is also one of the coolest additions to the ESP signature series lineup. Two models make up the initial lineup and BB-1005FL QM BOR is the five-string option. It has a solid, double-cut body made of alder base and quilted maple top. Burnt Orange with glossy finish and black hardware is the only color scheme available according to the official ESP site. Five-saddled Hipshot bridge and a pair of passive Aguilar pickups are found on the top. Pickups come in the H/S pattern and though they`re passive, preamp featured along with them is active. Master volume with push/pull switch, stacked bass/treble knob, balance and mid knob with push/pull switch guarantee an enormous palette of tonal options. Maple neck rocks the modern asymmetrical profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Set of Hipshot tuners wraps the specs list.
