See Thru Black Satin
ESP`s B series deals with modern designed and modern constructed bass guitars. Natural see-thru finishes prevail, but some of the opening models can be found in solid black or colorful flamed maple variants. All areas are pretty much covered and the lineup includes models with four strings, five strings, even six strings, fretted, fretless, standard-scaled, compound scaled and many other variants. Also, ESP pays great attention to the construction quality and electronics. A multitude of pickup combos is available with B basses. B205SM is a lower-intermediate class five-string with passive/active electronics, bolt-on construction and timeless B series design.
B-205SM starts with a solid and double-cut body made of ash base and spalted maple top. Carved-top body is partnered with a five-piece maple/rosewood neck with a rosewood fingerboard on its top. XJ frets, abalone inlays, 1.77" nut and 13.77" radius are featured on the fingerboard.
Pickups combo is made up of a pair of ESP Designed soapbar pickups. They`re passive, though the 3-band EQ is active. LTD BB-605 bridge with string-through construction and LTD`s own die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
