Natural Satin
B series basses are made for players who prefer the natural looks and have an eye for tastefully combined tonewoods. Besides this, B series models offer exceptional tonal possibilities, as well as unmatched body/neck balance. LTD side of the series` roster is huge and deals with everything from beginner tier to the upper intermediate tier. Fretted, fretless, four-string, five-string, six-string, active, passive, all kinds of models are available. Beginning in 2016, LTD B series will feature multi-scale models. The first to break the ice is B-1004SE Multi Scale.
This is a solid-bodied bass with bolt-on construction and standard B series styling. The body is made of swamp ash base with a gorgeous rosewood top. Due to the exceptional beauty of the carved top and series policy, Natural Satin is the only color option available. The neck is made of five pieces of wenge and bubinga and has a super thin U contour. Rosewood fingerboard on its top has 24 fanned frets with offset dot inlays, 42mm molded nut and 400mm radius. Fanned frets give this marvelous four-string a compound scale of 34"-36-1/4". 34" on the first string and 36-1/4" on the fourth.
Active Nordstrand Big Splits pickups come with an extended controls unit (volume, balance, three-band EQ and two mini-switches). Hipshot`s four-saddled Solo bridge with independent saddles and Gotoh tuners complete the specs list.
