Dingwall is a Canada based manufacturer which makes exclusive electric guitars and electric basses. Electric bass division is by far larger than guitar, and it`s famous for it`s fan fretted fingerboards. For 2012 Frankfurt Musikmesse Dingwall comes with announcements of a brand new series, the Super P. It is Dingwall`s homage to the legend that started the story of electric basses back in the 1950s. Dingwall Super P 4 comes with a solid double cutaway body made in the vein of the Fender`s P bass. It`s flat and i features strategically distributed mass. Currently, Dingwall Super P basses come with gloss finishes. Bridge on this model is a fixed four saddle feature with chrome plating. In the pickup area, there is only one P pickup in the middle area. It is controlled with a very simple controls layout which consists of master volume and master tone. Multi-laminated neck features a fast and comfortable contour and is topped with a maple fingerboard. The fingerboard is equipped with 22 fanned frets with black dot position inlays. Hipshot tuners, Hipshot bridge and Novax fanned frets complete the list of specs for this extraordinary Super P 4 bass.
