V is Dean`s core model and body shape. It has been present in the catalog since the very beginning of the Dean Guitars, back in the 1970s. Along with ML and Z (Explorer), it forms the heart of what Dean Guitars is. V model has been taken as a basis of yet another series, the Metalman line of electric basses. It`s timeless design and metal icon status have made it a lot easier for Dean. Metalman V in 2A variant comes with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood and bolted maple neck. Four-saddled bridge on the top is fronted with a series-standard pair of humbucking pickups. Maple neck is fit with fast and comfortable contour in the back and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
