The popular and Edge series is Dean`s main electric bass series, made primarily for rock and metal players. Edge 6 Flame Top is one of only two updates Dean Guitars introduced at this year`s NAMM. It comes in Trans Black Satin (satin finish, black chrome hardware, black plastics, black binding, black headstock) and will cost $1,349 (MSRP). Main features of this beastly six-stringer include a solid and double-cut Edge body (mahogany base, two-piece flame maple top, modern Edge top contour), a maple neck (C profile, satin finish, four-bolt joint), a 24-fret fingerboard made of pau ferro (jumbo frets, abalone dot inlays, 2.12" string nut, 35" scale, 16" radius), a hardtail bridge, EMG`s popular 45 HZ soapbar pickups, and sealed die-cast tuners.
