Gene Simmons is, of course, the number one signature artist in Cort`s catalog, mainly due to the huge legacy Mr Simmons and Kiss have left to the rock world. But, he is not the only one. For 2014, Cort introduces a four-stringed bass with Jeff Berlin`s signature. Jeff, who is a legend of not only the American jazz and fusion scenes, but world`s jazz and fusion scenes is the newest member of the Cort signature tribe. His model is named Rithimic; it rocks the classic offset body contour (Jazz Bass), together with a bolted neck, standard 34" scale and modern/vintage styling. Body of this amazing four-stringer is made of alder base and combined spalted maple/paduk top. Since this model is available only in Natural Gloss color scheme, Rithimic is one of the most recognizable four-stringers in the crowd, due to the beautiful contrast of maple and paduk. Hardtail bridge is plated in gold (so are the tuners and pots) and is fronted with a pair of custom Jeff Berlin Bartolini pickups. Master volume, master tone and balance knob comprise the controls. Maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
