Conklin is one of several Canadian brands with a considerable success on US market. COnklin is still a small brand when compared to Godin and it`s numerous subsidiaries. Most of the production of this small, but strong brand is made up of upscale and highly customized guitars and basses. Standard series in both segments do exist, but are heavily overshadowed by the exclusive custom-made models. Tour series is one of three lines of electric basses in the standard section of the catalog. It is made up of four models and Tour 6 String is the only six-stringed bass in this series. It has a solid, double-cut ash body, maple/bubinga neck with a wide and thin contour, two active single-coil pickups, hardtail bridge and a 24-fret bubinga fingerboard.
