LB70W is a regular LB70 model with a special Claro walnut top. It`s body is made of alder and it sports a double cutaway with neck-through construction. The top on this model is slightly carved for the easier access of the strumming hand and finished in high gloss. The bridge on this LB70 model is a hipshot with string-through construction and four saddles. In the pickups area, Carvin installs a pair of their own pickups. They are configured in H/S pattern. Controls include volume, pickup pan knob, bass, middle and sweep knobs. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is attached to the body with through-body joint. Principal fingerboard material is ebony and it comes with 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and 1.60" wide string nut.
