Icon IC6 steps into an area few basses ever entered, the legendary six-string territory, which is almost exclusively reserved for guitars. IC6 brings a massive double cutaway body made of alder back and flamed maple top in the basic variant. As for all other Icon models, Carvin offers a wide range of optional top woods for this model, as well. In the bridge section, Carvin installs a series standard hipshot bridge. This time, it comes with six saddles and string-through construction. Soapbar pickups are controlled with volume, pickup pan, stacked bass, stacked mid and sweep control knobs. Neck on this model is made of maple and it features a neck-through construction. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and 2.02" wide string nut.
