GS series is concentrate around the models made with grand symphony-shaped bodies. Grand symphony is among the smallest standard body shapes and it is very popular with players who find dreadnought and jumbo too big. GS7 is upper intermediate model from the GS series and it comes with non-cutaway body variant. Natural color option is the only one and this model comes with high gloss finish. To complement this, Taylor install gold plated tuners. Body is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce top. This combo is more often found on nylon-stringers, than on acoustic guitars with steel strings. Bridge section is equipped with a standard ebony-made bridge. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony, Taylor`s favorite fingerboard wood.
