GS6 12 is one of five twelve-stringers from the GS series made by Taylor Guitars. It is a twelve-stringed variant of the GS6 model, which serves as the entry model along with GS5. Basic specs lists, when compared are the same, though some measures had to be adjusted and changed to support twelve strings. Natural color is the only color option on this model and it comes with high gloss finish. This is combined with gold plated tuners made by Taylor. Back and side panels on this model are made of maple, while the top is made of spruce. In the bridge section, Taylor installs a belly shaped bridge made of ebony. Maple-made neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, 15" radius, white dot inlays and 1.875" wide TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard.
