BR-70AS is the top dreadnought model from the Contemporary series by Blueridge. This series offers a wide variety of both acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars with dreadnoughts being the predominant body contour. This one is fully acoustic and comes with a non-cutaway body variant. Body of this model is made of rosewood and spruce. Rosewood is on the sides and in the back, while the spruce is on the top. Top panel of this model is equipped with rich combination of ivoroid and abalone binding, black plastic pickguard and abalone rosette. Bridge section is equipped with a regular-shaped rosewood bridge and it`s matched with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, hexagon abalone inlays and 1.769" wide bone string nut complete the fingerboard. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a standard V contour.
