Fantastic guitar! All solid wood (Engelman spruce in the top and mahogany back and sides) of premium quality and flawless assembly -The key factors in producing a guitar that makes it a great sounding instrument. Now, the Recording King RO 26 sounds as good as it gets. Just to give you a hint what I mean by that: I usually enter guitar stores just to pick out and play the most expensive guitars that they have (I even bring my own guitar for A-B testning). I play their most expensive Martins, Gibsons, Furch and Larrivee guitars, their Taylors and their... ok, you get the picture. And I always leave the store with a smile, because I realize that I do not need an upgrade. This guitar defies the axiomatic assumption that price and quality has a linear correlation. Change the brand and put a 3000$ pricetag on it and not a single customer would complaint about the bang-for-the-buck that they got from this guitar. If you find a used one - congratulations! They don’t make them anymore.
