RD-27 is the top dreadnought guitar from the Classic series and it comes with non-cutaway body with no electronics installed on it. Classic series offers vintage-styled guitars and they are available only in dread and orchestra variants. This particular dread comes with the following list of tone woods: rosewood, spruce and mahogany. Rosewood is heavily used on this model, as four major parts are made of it. Back panel, side panel, bridge and fingerboard are made of rosewood. Mahogany is only used for the neck and spruce for the sound board. Top panel of the body is equipped with creme binding and tortoise shell pickguard. Rosewood bridge is equipped with a regular contour and neck has V-shaped back. Rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets and 1-11/16" wide bone nut.
