Peavey`s DW series offers a trio of affordable dreadnought guitars with acoustic-electric construction, full-length 25-1/2" scales, quality electronics and Peavey hardware. All models are available exclusively in natural color with gloss finish and minimalistic styling (though DW-3 comes with gold-plated tuners). DW-2 kicks off with a full-sized non-cutaway body and a rounded neck attached at the 14th fret. Mahogany back and sides and laminated spruce top make up the body, while the neck is completely made of mahogany. Rosewood fingerboard tops the neck (20 frets, dot inlays, 25-1/2" scale). The electronics unit includes an under-saddle piezo pickup and an active preamp with built-in tuner. Die-cast tuning machines and fixed rosewood bridge complete the specs list.
