MD100S is a non-cutaway dreadnought guitar from the Mitchell catalog. It comes with a standard, full-sized body with non-cutaway design. Despite it`s size, it feels good in hands. It`s made of mahogany back and side panels with spruce sound board on top. This is one of the most frequent combinations for steel-stringed acoustic body and with dreadnought contour, it is bound to give tremendously strong and very well defined tone. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Back side contour of the neck is very comfortable, yet substantial enough to nicely fill the left hand. Fingerboard has 20 medium frets, dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide bone nut. Fingerboard on this dread is very user-friendly.
