OM-1 is an orchestra guitar from the 1 series of Martin`s catalog. Pretty similar to OM-1 GT, this model comes with a non-cutaway body with fully acoustic construction. It`s body is made of sapele and spruce, just like OM-1 GT`s body. Sapele is used for the back and side panels, giving the base for a powerful, deep and warm tone. Spruce sound board gives it crystal clear projection and lively response. On the inside, this orchestra guitar is equipped with modern bracing pattern made of spruce, to match the fingerboard. Bridge and fingerboard are traditionally matched and made of the same material. So is the case with this model, bridge and fingerboard are made of rosewood, while the neck is made of rust stratabond. Hardware is plated in chrome on this one.
