This model is the left-handed variant of the famous D-28, a dreadnought Martin advertises as the dreadnought of all dreadnoughts. A standard by which all others are measured and judged. And they are pretty much right. With a price tag between $3,000 and $3,500, this dread is expensive enough to have very high expectations attached to it, but it delivers flawlessly. Solid East Indian rosewood and solid Sitka spruce comprise the non-cutaway body. Bracing under the sound board is made of the same material, sitka spruce. Top shelf tone wood policy continues on with magnificent low profile neck made of hardwood. It features satin finish and it`s extraordinary playable throughout it`s length. This neck is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Bridge is also made of solid ebony.
