Celtic is a brand new series in the Acoustic segment of the Luna catalog. This line, like the rest of the Luna catalog, is made for the players who like exotic and natural design. Luna`s guitars, and basses in recent years, combine the modern instrument construction with nature inspired styling and design. Currently, in the initial lineup of the Celtic series, there are only two models. One of them is the Celtic Swan, the acoustic-electric model to which this review is dedicated. It is a non-cutaway guitar with a grand concert body. Back and side panels are made of rosewood, while the top is made of spruce. This combination grants the Celtic Swan a balanced tone with a lot of power and good projection (both the Swan and Horse are among the best intermediate acoustic-electric guitars on the market). On the top, there`s a belly-shaped bridge, as well as the laser-etched tribal swan graphic located around the sound hole. Electronics unit boasts the famous B-Band T-35 preamp mounted on the side of the body, facing the player. Neck on this marvelous six-stringer is made of mahogany. On it`s top, there`s a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
