Americana series is reinforced with five models for 2012, and one of them is the AMJ 100 jumbo guitar. This series draws heavily on tradition and style of vintage American acoustic guitars from the golden age of acoustics. Americana models are perfect for players who seek vintage looks and vintage tone, but are not ready to shell out thousands of bucks. AMJ 100 comes as a non-cutaway jumbo guitar with rosewood backs and sides and solid spruce top. Series traits include wood binding, wood rosette and a tortoise shell pickguard. The color option available on this acoustic-electric is standard natural with gloss finish. The bridge is made of ebony and is equipped with belly shape, white string pins and white plastic saddle. B-band electret pickup is combined with B-band preamp. The control panel for the preamp is mounted onto the side of the guitar and contains three-band equalizer, volume knob, phase switch and tuner with display. The neck is made of mahogany and meets the body at the 14th fret through a dovetail joint. The fingerboard is made of ebony and it sports 20 frets with moon phase inlays and 1.6252" wide string nut. 25-1/2" scale and chrome plated hardware finish the list of specs for AMJ 100.
