Among the millions of guitar players around the world, a vast majority owns and plays standard-sized guitars and basses. Some of the players struggle with 25-1/2" scales and some find them almost, if not completely, impossible to play. These problems generally occur with players of smaller stature or with smaller hands, and with children of course. The remedy is a scaled-down guitar. There are many options out there, ranging from mandolins and ukuleles to thoroughbred six-string guitars with shortened scales and slightly down-sized bodies. AW54MINI is a great example of the latter.
AW54MINI is a fully acoustic guitar with non-cutaway body design and standard features of a regular steel-stringer. But, it comes with a 22-4/5" scale and a slightly smaller than usual body (it is a dreadnought guitar). Entire body is made of mahogany (this includes back, sides and top). Black binding, double-circle rosette and tortoise pickguard decorate the body. The neck is also made of mahogany. 20-fret rosewood fingerboard sits on its top. 1.69" nut, dot inlays and 15-3/4" radius comprise the fingerboard. Fixed rosewood bridge with compensated saddle and die-cast tuners wrap the list of major features.
