Artwood is Ibanez`s main acoustic range. It`s also the biggest and the best-selling one. Currently, it is made up of the main Artwood line and several sub-series, among which Artwood Vintage Thermo Aged series is found. 2018 Ibanez lineup brings a handful of new Thermo Aged models, including the vintage/modern AD9CE. The single-cut dread offers a Thermo Aged (torrefied/baked) top, chrome hardware, combined Fishman/Ibanez electronics, and a big, warm tone. The color palette`s restricted currently to the Natural High Gloss. Main construction features include a flat-top body (mahogany back/sides, solid Sitka spruce top, tortoise binding), a mahogany neck (soft V shape, 14th fret dovetail joint), a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.69" nut, 25.6" scale), an ovangkol bridge, and open-gear tuners.
