Artwood is Ibanez`s biggest and most popular acoustic range. It houses several sub-series, with the Thermo Aged line being the latest major addition to the fleet. Thermo Aged models are based on other (regular, non-aged) Artwood models and come with torrefied (baked) tops, sometimes back and sides. AVC9L is a fully acoustic grand concert steel-stringer, a member of Thermo Aged series, and one of the best choices for acoustic blues players. The color palette is limited to Open Pore Natural (w/ gold hardware, tortoise pickguard, and tortoise binding). Main construction features include laminated mahogany back & sides, solid mahogany top, mahogany neck (Soft- profile), and rosewood fingerboard (24.96" scale, 20 medium frets, bone nut). AVC9L also features a fixed rosewood bridge, open-gear tuners, and spruce-made X-bracing.
