AEG Series models are meant to be workhorse acoustic-electric guitars. All of the models of the series come with AEG bodies, it`s Ibanez own shape, and all have single cutaway designs. AEG10 is positioned as series opener and it`s body is made of mahogany back and sides with a spruce top. Black, Transparent Blue Sunburst and Vintage Sunburst are available color options. All are finished in gloss. White binding around the top is accompanied by abalone rosette. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it has a compensated saddle. Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez SST Shapeshifter preamp make up the electronics area. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
