HM 88CE is an acoustic-electric variant of the HM 88C and these two share basically the same set of specs. HM 88CE has single cutaway body design and dovetail neck joint construction. Body is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Color palette for the entire series is restricted to the natural wood color with high gloss finish, and this one is no exception. Besides the beautiful gloss finish, this model also features elegant rosette and multi-ply binding. Pickguard is not installed on any of the Master series models. Electronics department is equipped with a combination of piezo pickup and side-mounted preamp. Bridge is a standard one and made of rosewood. Alder-made bridge is topped with a regular 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Hardware is plated in gold.
