The current incarnation of the Classic Design series features only two tiers - 60 and 140, where 60 acts as the introductory tier and 140 as the top level. Both are, however, budget-friendly, with the most expensive models remaining well within the $500 range (some 140 models also come with solid cases). CD-60SCE 12-String is one of two available 12-stringers (CD-140SCE 12-String is the other one). It comes with a cutaway dreadnought body, glued-in neck (14th fret joint, 25.3" scale), Fishman electronics, and Fender hardware. Core construction features include laminated mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top, "Easy-to-Play" mahogany neck and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Other notable features include a solid rosewood bridge, Fishman`s CD preamp system, die-cast tuners, and scalloped X-bracing.
