DS2H is another one in @H line of basic model upgrades. Collings acoustic guitar series start off with model numbered 1, and 2H model signifies an upgraded guitar which also features herringbone binding. This particular model comes as a non-cutaway slope-shoulder dreadnought guitar with a body made of east Indian rosewood back and sides and sitka spruce top. The top features herringbone binding, tortoise pickguard and triple circle rosette. Bracing is laid out in a scalloped prewar pattern. The bridge is made of ebony and it features belly shape, ebony string pins and bone saddle. The neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body at the 12th fret. Ebony fingerboard sports 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1-13/16" bone nut. 25-1/2" scale and nickel-plated Waverly tuners complete the specs.
