Breedlove Revival OM/SMe Review

Breedlove`s Voice series contains six models in total. Three of them are regular, modern-designed acoustic-electric guitars, and three are Revival models with vintage-styled design and features. These Revival models combine prewar bracing, retro headstocks and other vintage appointments in combination with brand new amplification system from L.R. Baggs named Anthem Tru Voice. This system employs both the microphone and a pickup. Microphone features a revolutionary design and it reproduces the tone with fantastic precision and clarity. The pickup steps in for the low end notes to support them. Revival OM/SMe comes with a non-cutaway orchestra model body which is made of Honduran mahogany back and sides with a solid sitka spruce top. The top is flat and bound in tortoise binding. Also, it features a tortoise pickguard and a triple circle rosette around the sound hole. The bridge on this model is made of ebony and it comes with a classic belly shape. Black string pins are contrasted by a white saddle. The neck on Revival OM/SMe is made of Honduran mahogany and it is attached to the body with a bolt-on joint. The joint is located at the standard 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony and it features 20 frets, custom 12th fret inlay and 1.75" wide bone nut. Other features on this model feature prewar X bracing pattern, open gear nickel-plated Grover tuners and high gloss finish all over the guitar. The MSRP for Revival OM/SMe is set at $3,999.
