Cascade D/CRe is one of two dreads from Breedlove`s Cascade series. Parts for this line are made in Korea and assembled in the US, thus passing rigorous quality checks and controls both prior and after the assembly, which is done by Breedlove`s top luthiers. This dread has series standard body parts. It is made of rosewood back and side panels with cedar sound board on top. Rosewood is usually combined with spruce for the steel-stringers, though lately cedar gains more and more fans among steel-string players. D/CRe features wooden binding, tortoise shell pickguard, abalone rosette and gold-plated Gotoh tuners. Bridge is a standard Cascade installation, it`s modern-shaped and made of rosewood. Neck is made of two pieces of mahogany with 20-fret fingerboard on top.
