Breedlove Atlas Studio C250/SFe Review

Atlas Series guitars offer supreme quality in their price range, which is slightly above $1,000. Breedlove utilizes some of their best materials and production resources to create and make each and every Atlas model reach it`s full potential. This series is aimed at both the professional performing guitarists and amateurs who desire to have a high quality instrument to play on. Atlas Studio C250/SFe comes with a standard concert-shaped body with single cutaway design. It is made available only in sunburst color with high gloss finish. It`s back and side panels are made of flamed maple, while the top is made of sitka spruce. Top panel is bound in classy creme binding and equipped with a single circle rosette made of abalone. Bridge sports a regular Breedlove shape. In the electronics department Breedlove installs L. R. Baggs electronics, a combination of LR-T CV pickup and side mounted preamp. The neck on this model is made of nato mahogany wood and it comes with a regular contour on the back. Dovetail joint is set at the 14th fret and east Indian rosewood is used for the fingerboard. 20 frets are covered with dot inlays and a custom 12th fret inlay. 1-11/16" wide tonestone saddle completes the fingerboard. Other features include Grover Mini tuners and 25-1/2" scale. The MSRP for this Atlas is set at $1,199.
