Jumbos are, along with dreadnoughts, the largest acoustic guitars in current production. Originated by Gibson in 1930s. Since then many manufacturers have copied or built models based upon the Gibson`s jumbo, that it ultimately became a common guitar shape, just as dreadnougt, concert or orchestra. Breedlove is also one of the brands with long tradition of jumbo models in it`s ranks. This particular jumbo comes from the Atlas series and it`s a studio designated model. It`s body is made of rosewood back and sides with cedar sound board on top. This single-cut jumbo has the bridge made of rosewood and it`s equipped with a modern contour. Fingerboard matches the bridge and is also made of rosewood. 20 frets, dot position markers with custom 12th fret inlay and 1-11/16" string nut are featured on the fingerboard.
