Ard Ri 2-350 belongs to the upscale Ard Ri line of steel-stringed acoustic guitars. All models in the current lineup feature starting prices above the $5,000 mark. Ard Ri models are also the most customizable ones in the entire Avalon Guitars catalog.
2-350 starts off with a flat-top body made of Australian blackwood (back, sides) and spruce (soundboard). Small, jumbo, auditorium and dreadnought options are available. European and Engelmann spruce soundboard options are available, as well. The neck is made of mahogany (several different profile options exist) and it sports a 20-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Pickups and preamps are not default options for Ard Ri models, but Avalon offers an entire host of amplification options (LR Baggs, Fishman, K&K). Rosewood bridge, Avalon AXE bracing and gold-plated tuners complete the specs list.
