The famous SLG series (stands for Silent Guitar) offers a line of electro-acoustic guitars which rely solely on electronics (preamps, mics, pickups) for amplification. They don`t have bodies in a traditional sense of the word, as they`re made up of a body center, neck, and the two-part frame (which mimics the body contours). Yamaha`s SLG models feature Yamaha`s own electronics, with SRT pickup and microphone forming the core elements. SLG200N has a "single-cut body" made of mahogany body center and rosewood/maple frame. Tobacco Sunburst, Black, and Natural are the only available color options. Other important features include a mahogany neck (standard shape, 12th fret joint), 19-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.96" nut, 25-9/16" scale, side dot inlays), fixed rosewood bridge, and classical tuners.
