NTX700C is a direct counterpart of the NCX700C model, as well as one of the most affordable currently available NX models (the MSRP for NTX700C is set at $865.00, which is the same as NCX700C). That being said, the two nylon-stringers feature same tonewoods (this means laminated nato backs & sides, as well as solid Sitka spruce tops on both models), same electronics (Yamaha`s own A.R.T. 2-way pickups with shoulder-mounted preamps are installed on both models), standard scale lengths (25-9/16"), and similar styling. The NTX700C is offered only in Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome-plated hardware, and black binding). The only distinguishing feature between the two is the body shape - NCX700C rocks the traditional body shape, while the NTX700C comes in with a contemporary classical body.
