NCX700 is the basic model of the Yamaha`s NCX series of acoustic-electric classical guitars. These powered up nylon-stringers are among the finest choices in their price class. NCX700 comes with a standard shaped body with single cutaway construction. It is available only in natural color with high gloss finish. Back and side panels on this model are made of rosewood, while the top panel is made of spruce. This spruce sound board is equipped with natural binding and series standard rosette. In the bridge section, Yamaha installs a standard shaped bridge made of ebony. Electronics are made up of under-saddle pickup and side-mounted System61 preamp. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 19 frets, flat radius and 2.04" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard.
