FX310A is a very affordable acoustic-electric guitar with a dreadnought body and standard Yamaha construction. Being in the lower price range, FX310A is made of laminated tonewoods. Meranti back and sides and spruce sound board give a strong, pleasant and balanced tone. Nato neck and rosewood fingerboard add to the overall sense of tonal balance. Sound board is bound in subtle black and has a black plastic pickguard. Rosewood bridge on the sound board rocks the bellz contour and has a piezo pickup beneath the plastic saddle. Pickup is paired with a side-mounted preamp, which is installed to face the player. Nato neck has the standard profile, dovetail joint at the 14th fret and standard radius. Rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets, dot inlays and plastic nut is also a standard FX series feature.
