As series` only twelve-stringer, CPX700-12 has a very special place among it`s siblings. It comes with a standard grand auditorium body shape with single cutaway design. This cutaway is Venetian one, which is a much more popular variant than the provocative Florentine. Natural colored CPX700-12 comes finished in gloss. Back and side panels on this model are made of nato and the top is made of spruce. Multi-ply binding and double circle rosette complete the top specs. There is no pickguard installed upon this model. Bridge section is equipped with a standard bridge made of rosewood. In the electronics department Yamaha installs a piezo pickup with System56 preamp. Neck on this model is made of nato wood and equipped with dovetail joint. Ebony fingerboard comes with a set of 20 frets with dot position inlays.
