WD40 comes from the Flame Maple section of the WD series by Washburn guitars. It is a dreadnought shaped guitar with non-cutaway design. This fully acoustic steel-stringer is made only in natural color and it comes with satin finish. Satin is chosen by Washburn for it does not damp the tone as much as the gloss finish, but still protects the body from the elements and looks good. Back and side panels on this model are made of flamed maple, and are combined with a spruce top. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it comes with a standard belly shape. Neck is made of mahogany and it is equipped with a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. Rosewood-made fingerboard features 20 frets with dot position inlays. Golden hardware finishes the specs list.
