This elegant dreadnought steel-stringer comes with a single cutaway design and high quality Fishman electronics. Situated within the Deluxe Tamo Ash division of the Washburn`s WD series, this model has a high class pedigree. It comes in only one color option, the natural, which is finished in satin. Washburn switched from gloss to satin as the finish of preference, for it allows the wood to breathe better and thus project the tone a lot better. Back and side panels on this model are made of ash, while the top is made of spruce. Abalone is used for both the binding and single circle rosette. Rosewood is the material of choice for the bridge. Mahogany made neck is topped with a fingerboard made of rosewood. 20 frets with dot position inlays wrap the specs list.

This is an easy playing & bright sounding guitar. The setup is well done straight from the factory. The only thing that I have added is a clear pick guard and med strings. The finish is good and the Tamo Ash grain is unbelievably beautiful. The playability is right up there with my Alvarez Yairi. I have played guitars costing twice as much, that dont sound or play as good. If my WD35SCE was stolen.....Id buy another one. No doubt about it!
