Deluxe Mahogany series produces some of the finest acoustics with Washburn brand on their headstocks. It is comprised of three models, two dreadnoughts and one folk model. WD15S is a non-cutaway dreadnought which has a body made of mahogany back and sides and spruce top. The top is bound in rich binding and free of pickguards. The sound hole is decorated with an abalone rosette. In the bridge section, Washburn installs a rosewood bridge with a recognizable Washburn design. There are no electronics installed on this model, as it is a fully acoustic guitar. The neck is made of mahogany and it features a dovetail joint. The fingerboard on this neck is made of rosewood and it comes with a set of 21 frets, dot position inlays and bone string nut.
