M 1S is a fully acoustic model from the Mandolins series by Washburn. This is an A-styled mandolin with four double course strings. Sunburst color with high gloss finish is the only one available for this model. Back and side panels on this mandolin are made of spalted mango and the top panel is made of spruce. top is decorated with white binding and black plastic pickguard, which is also bound in white binding. Two "f" holes are carved onto the top. Bridge is made of rosewood and it features a compensated saddle. This bridge is height adjustable and it`s paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is attached to the body with a standard set-in joint. Rosewood fingerboard features 20 frets.
