Taylor`s Presentation series is advertised as the pinnacle of Taylor`s craftsmanship, far above anything and everything in the regular catalog (Seasonal limiteds and custom shop one-offs don`t count). The current lineup has five models, two grand concerts, two grand symphonies, and one grand orchestra. Thus far, dreadnoughts and grand auditoriums (main models of the core 100-900 range) have been omitted from the lineup. PS14ce is one of the currently active models. It starts at $8,999 and is offered only in Natural (w/gloss finish, gold-plated hardware, ebony binding, paua inlays). Main appointments include solid Macassar back/sides, premium Sitka spruce top, a tropical mahogany neck, a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony, an ebony bridge, Taylor`s state-of-the-art ES2 pickup/preamp system, and Gotoh tuning machines.
