Brazilian is a special dreadnought model introduced in Taylor`s 35th anniversary limited edition series. It features back and side panels made of Brazilian rosewood. It is an exclusive tone wood with exceptional tonal properties. It is rarely used for entire bodies, more often back and side panels of exclusive models are made of it. Top panel on this model is made of spruce. Top is bound in abalone and equipped with a very elegant sound hole rosette. Pickguard is omitted from the specs list. In the electronics department Taylor installs their own Expression system. Bridge is a regular Taylor made of ebony. Neck on this dread is made of mahogany and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, custom inlays and 15" radius complete the fingerboard specs.
