416ce-FLTD is a model from the 400 Fall Limited Edition series introduced within the fall 2013 Limited Edition. This model is one of three guitars introduced into this series and is one of two six-stringers. The third model is a twelve-stringer. All three are single-cut acoustic-electrics with characteristic Taylor styling and design. 416 features the compact grand symphony body with single-cut design, scarf neck joint, chrome hardware and glossy finish. It is made of Indian rosewood back and sides with west red cedar sound board on top. This series is entirely made for players who prefer fingerpicking over strumming and plectrums. Body is decorated in classic Taylor style, which includes the white binding around the top, tortoise shell pickguard and a triple circle rosette around the sound hole. Bri8dge on the top is made of ebony and underneath it, Taylor installs the new version of the legendary Expression System electronics. Forward shifted bracing helps the compact grand symphony model to achieve the strength of a much larger guitar. Mahogany neck is one of the staple features in Taylor catalog and is usually topped with ebony fingerboards (such is the case on this model, as well). The MSRP is set at $2,658
