TH5 is a classical guitar from Classics & Hirade series. This series is situated within the Pro Series of Takamine catalog and represents it`s only dedicated line of nylon-stringers. TH family of models has several variants, with TH5 being one. It comes with classical, non-cutaway designed body with acoustic-electric construction. It`s body is made of rosewood and cedar, which is Takamine`s favorite combination of woods for classicals. Cedar sound board is decorated with black binding and classical sound hole rosette. Traditionally, classic guitars don`t feature pickguards. Electronics department of this model is equipped with a Cool Tube preamp, which is installed on the shoulder of this body. Bridge is a standard one and it`s made of ebony. On the other side, 19-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
