Takamini is an acoustic-electric dreadnought with shorter scale and scaled-down body. It belongs to the famous Taka Mini series located in the G segment of the catalog. Takamini comes with back and sides made of mahogany and top made of solid cedar. Cedar is not as sharp as spruce and has a bit more warmth, so it goes really well with mahogany, creating great finger-picking tone. Only two color options are available, Black and Natural. Both have chrome-plated hardware and gloss finish. Neck is also made of mahogany and it is topped with a 19-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Electronics department is equipped with a standard VT preamp mounted on the shoulder. Rosewood bridge with synthetic bone saddle and chrome-plated tuners complete the list of major features.
