P3NC is a NEX model with single cutaway, that is situated within the newborn Pro Series 3 line of acoustic-electric guitars from Takamine. Japan`s most significant acoustic guitar manufacturer updates it`s catalog with Pro Series 1 and Pro Series 3 lines and they come with seven new models, each. This is the second NEX guitar, as Pro Series 1 also has NEX. This one comes with single cutaway design and body made of solid sapele back and sides with solid cedar sound board on top. Natural is the only color option available for this steel-stringed NEX and it`s finished in satin. Multi-ply binding and double circle rosette embellish the top. They are discreet, yet very elegant additions to this Pro Series Takamine. Bridge section is equipped with a regular rosewood bridge, which comes with standard contour and split bone saddle. Takamine installs a palathetic pickup in the electronics area and supports it with CT4B preamp. This combo is present on all Pro Series 1 and Pro Series 3 models. African mahogany is used for the standard neck. 14th fret dovetail joint and rosewood fingerboard on top. 20 frets, white dot inlays and bone nut wrap the fingerboard specs. Tuners are plated in gold.
