ETN70 is one of the top models in Takamine`s Naturals series and it comes with orchestra body contour. Designed with out a cutaway and with acoustic-electric construction with CT4B preamp, this is the only non-cutaway guitar in the series. All other models feature cutaways. ETN70 utilizes several species of wood and mahogany, cedar and rosewood are predominant. Mahogany is used for the back and side panels of the body and are paired with cedar sound board on top. With this model, Takamine decided to replace the common spruce top option in favor of cedar, even though this is a steel-stringer. Top panel is equipped with multi-ply binding, single circle rosette and satin finish over the natural color. Belly-contoured bridge and 20-fret fingerboard are both made of rosewood.
