EG531DLX is a model situated within the dreadnought series made by Takamine. This series is dedicated only to dreads and it`s a part of Takamine`s budget-friendly G section of the catalog. It is equipped with the deluxe treatment over the sapele and sapele and spruce body. Sapele is on the sides and in the back, while the spruce is used for the sound board on top. Deluxe treatment includes abalone binding and rosette in combination with black plastic pickguard. This is beautifully combined with elegant tuxedo-black color scheme and gorgeous gold-plated tuning machines on the headstock. With the MSRP set to $999, this one is a true gem. TK40 preamp i sinstalled in the electronics department on the shoulder. Rosewood is used for both the bridge and fingerboard.
